encaustic on paper
I thought I'd try sketching with encaustic on paper. It seems to work okay as long as the microcrystalline is really soft- very little damar. This is my sister asleep in the studio.
Leah Gold is an encaustic painter and enthusiastic proponent of community arts projects. She has facilitated creative mayhem through Arts Etobicoke, Art Heart Community Art Centre, Kapisanan Philippine Centre, and the Graffiti Transformation Project. She holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University.
Leah offers private classes in drawing and painting out of her downtown studio.
