My gift for Jeff's new niece Rebecca. I dipped the charcoal drawings on wax then drew on them with oil pastels and gave them a layer of oil glazing. run free, rebecca!
I'll be hosting three encaustic workshops at my studio in April. Each one will revolve around a different aspect of encaustic painting, and any one will serve as an excellent introduction to the technique.
Leah Gold is an encaustic painter and enthusiastic proponent of community arts projects. She has facilitated creative mayhem through Arts Etobicoke, Art Heart Community Art Centre, Kapisanan Philippine Centre, and the Graffiti Transformation Project. She holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University.
Leah offers private classes in drawing and painting out of her downtown studio.
